How to Find Your Hat Size
Measure around your head about 1/4" above your ears, right where the hat will sit.
Adjustable fit: 95% of our hats have an internal size adjuster. Women’s styles mostly use an elastic adjuster; men’s styles usually have a hook & loop adjuster.

Hat & Bag Care
Straw & Paper Braid Hats
Spot clean only: wipe gently with a damp white cloth and a tiny drop of mild dish soap, following the weave.
Reshape: if crushed, soften with a clothes steamer, reshape by hand and let it dry completely.
Store: upside down on its crown or on a hat stand.
Avoid: hot cars, long periods in direct sun, and soaking in water.
Fabric Hats & Caps
Hand wash: cool water and mild detergent; use a soft brush on stubborn stains.
Rinse & dry: rinse in cool water. Don’t wring or twist. Shape it and air dry on a towel, away from heat and sun.
Canvas Bags & Totes
Clean: spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Dry: always air dry. A dryer can damage hardware and embellishments or shrink the bag.
UPF 50+ Sun Protection
Most Sun ’N’ Sand® headwear is rated UPF 50+, lab-verified to block 98% of UVA and UVB rays. UPF 50+ means the fabric lets through only 1/50th of the UV light that reaches it.
UPF vs. SPF: UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rates fabrics; SPF (Sun Protection Factor) rates sunscreens. A UPF 50+ hat is a simple, everyday habit for long-term skin protection.
